TotalEnergiesCHAN2022: AUB held Assessment Meeting, in Algiers
The African Union of Broadcasting is the TV Rights holder of the just ended African Nations Championship and other CAF Events such as the upcoming AFCON Under 20, to hold in February-March, in Egypt or the AFCON Under 17, to be played in Algeria in April-May 2023.
Within the framework of the 7th TotalEnergiesCHAN2022 held from January 13 to February 04, 2023, in Algeria, the AUB’s Center of Content Exchange produced a series of magazines in HD, on the tournament and side events.
The 13-minute program dubbed “The Spotlight” was uploaded daily on the Union’s Platform of Content Exchange (AUBVision), for the benefit of the AUB Member Organizations.
During the evaluation meeting which took place at the Center’s Conference Hall, in Bouchaoui-Ouled Fayet, Algiers, the AUB CEO, Mr. Grégoire Ndjaka seized the opportunity to thank the Production Team for the efforts deployed during this special season.
The AUB’s CEO expressed special thanks to the AUB Center’s Director, Mr Abderrahmane Khodja, the AUB Center’s Deputy Director, Mrs Gisèle Nnemi Nga, and the AUB CEO’s Special Envoy in Algiers, Mrs Evelyne Faye, for the brilliant coordination of the activities on the spot.
He also went on expressing vivid encouragements to the Technical Crew, conducted by Mrs Imene Boussoura, the Administrative department and public relations activities coordinated by Mrs Audrey Kamsu.
To the Team of journalists made up of Mrs Gisèle Nnemi Nga, Mr. Alegria Bastos, Mrs Jenipher Asiimwe and Mrs Irene Gaouda who went to the field covering all side events against winds and tides, the AUB CEO said: “You are laying the foundation stone of the Center, as far as production is concerned. You have done a lot! Keep walking. Believe in yourselves and you will reach peaks!”
On the occasion, Mr. Grégoire Ndjaka lauded the efforts of Mrs Gladys Tatah, Deputy Director of Cultural Diversity at the Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV) for her significant contribution in the presentation of the English version of the Spotlight Magazine.
Before ending the meeting, the AUB CEO called on each and everyone to redouble efforts regarding the challenges facing the Union.
