The Turkish Radio Television Corporation (TRT) joins the African Union of Broadcasting
The Turkish Radio Television Corporation (TRT) is the African Union of Broadcasting -AUB's New Associate Member.
TRT is the national public broadcaster of Turkey, founded in 1964.
TRT was for many years the only television and radio provider. Before the introduction of commercial radio in 1990, and subsequently commercial television in 1992 it held a monopoly on broadcasting. Today, TRT broadcasts around the world, especially in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Australia.
On the occasion of the 13th General Assembly Ordinary Session, AUB welcomed a TRT Three-man Delegation.
