Global Media Peace Awards: Media in the Service of Peace and Humanity

HEC Montréal – Executive Education, in collaboration with the Pale Bleu Dot Foundation – Japan, has launched the second edition of the Global Media Peace Awards (GMPA)—an initiative aimed at supporting and recognizing innovative media content that contributes to conflict prevention and resolution.
The award is open to journalists from radio and television organizations, digital media experts, as well as citizens from both the public and private sectors. Its objective is to highlight voices and stories—whether local or international—that showcase positive initiatives in confronting conflict and promoting a culture of tolerance, dialogue, and mutual understanding.
The winning entries will be selected by three independent international juries, and the award includes three main categories:
Radio
Television
Digital Media
Cash prizes will be awarded in each category as follows:
1st Prize: C$5,000
2nd Prize: C$2,500
3rd Prize: C$1,500
To participate, applicants must submit their work in MP3, MP4, or WAV format via email or through WeTransfer, along with the registration form, before the August 31, 2025 deadline.
It is important to note that the competition is free of charge and open to participants worldwide.
