2022 WORLD CUP Qualifiers: AUB Confirmed as Owner of Media Rights

CONFIRMATION OF RIGHTS
Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) of FIFA-Strasse 20, 8044، Zürich, Switzerland ("FIFA") is the international governing body of the sport of association football. FIFA has been mandated by each of the Member Associations of Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) to license all broadcast rights to the FIFA World Cup 2022™ African Qualifiers (the "Competition") by any and all means.
FIFA confirms that, subject to the terms of a media rights agreement between FIFA and African Union of Broadcasting of 7 Avenue Carde Immeuble CSS, 1st Floor, BP 3237, Dakar, Senegal ("AUB"):
(i) FIFA has granted to the AUB certain media rights to broadcast and/or sub-license full, live and delayed audiovisual coverage of all matches of the second round and play-offs of the Competition for exploitation in the territories of Angola, Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia and Zambia; and
(ii) FIFA has granted to the AUB certain media rights right to broadcast and/or sub-license full, live and delayed audiovisual coverage of the matches of the respective national football teams of the territories of Benin, Cameroon, Congo Brazzaville, Cote d'Ivoire, DR Congo, Gabon, Madagascar, Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso and Guinea during the second round and play-offs of the Competition;
(ii¡) where each such grant licensed to AUB exclusive television rights, mobile transmission rights and broadband transmission rights as well as non-exclusive radio rights, in each case for exercise on a free-to-air basis.
