AUB's 10th Anniversary

From 20th to 25th February 2017, the African Union of Broadcasting (AUB) celebrated its 10th anniversary. This celebration which took place within the framework of its General Assembly, brought together Director Generals of the African Union of Broadcasting (AUB Members), Presidents and Secretary Generals of other Broadcasting Unions, Members of Governments as well as Media and Sports personnalities. This was the occasion for the AUB to engage reflections on major issues of audiovisual in Africa through :

• A Content Forum on "How to promote authentic African content in the African media"

• Two symposiums on:

1. The commitment of African Governments to the management and funding of the sports movement across the continent

2. The future of public service media in the digital era
