CHAN Total 2020: Mali to clash with Guinea in semi-finals

In a shock of extremes between the Eagles of Mali, unfortunate finalists of the 2016 edition of CHAN in Rwanda; and the Congo Red Devils who were new to the competition, the two teams neutralized each other in regular time on Saturday January 30, 2021 in the quarter-finals of the sixth edition of the CHAN Total Cameroon 2020.

It was not until the penalty shootout session to decide between the two protagonists.

The self-confident Red Devils of Congo left the competition after giving the best of themselves. Mali will play the semifinals against its neighbor, Guinea who defeated Rwanda 1 goal to 0 on Sunday, January 31, 2021.
