CHAN Total 2020 : Cameroon strikes back against covid-19

During the opening match counting for the six edition of the African Nations Championship (CHAN), on Saturday, January 16, 2020 in Yaoundé, everyone appreciated the immense efforts deployed by the host country, Cameroon to reinforce sanitary measures.

On the outskirts of the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium, the hand-washing buckets installed on each put, obliged football fans to make a systematic stop, under the benevolent gaze of the security forces.

Inside the stadium, the distance was observed. Between two seats, it was marked "forbidden to sit".

Wearing a mask was compulsory and volunteer agents offered disinfectant solutions.

A space with a capacity of nearly 300 beds was set up not far from the stadium, to deal as quickly as possible with any signs of covid-19, and to accommodate all cases detected at the various sites of the tournament.

The CHAN TOTAL 2020 brings together sixteen countries spread over four cities in Cameroon: Yaoundé, Douala, Limbé and Buea.
