CHAN CAMEROON 2020: FIFA President is in Yaounde

At the eve of the African Nations Championship (CHAN), the President of the Republic of Cameroon, His Excellency Paul Biya, granted an audience to Mr Gianni Infantino, President of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).

During the audience, Mr Paul Biya whose country is organizing the CHAN Competition for the first time, expressed happiness to meet with Gianni Infantino who is in Cameroon for the first time since he took over FIFA, in February 26, 2016.

FIFA’s President arrived in Cameroon aboard a private jet. In the meantime, he took part in CAF’s Executive Committee Meeting this Friday. Gianni Infantino would be at the opening match tomorrow Saturday, 16 January 2021, at the Ahmadou Ahidho Stadium between Zimbabwe and Cameroon.
