AUB CEO welcomed an E-media Invest Group delegation



On Thursday, February 7, 2019, the Director General of the African Union of Broadcasting, Mr. Grégoire Ndjaka received in audience at the Union’s headquarters in Dakar, the senior Staff of the e-media Invest Group.

Mr Mamoudou Ibra Kane, Managing Director of the e-media group, Alassane Samba Diop, Director of i-Radio and i-TV as well as Mamadou Ndiaye, Director of Communication of the group, came to the AUB “to get the insights of the organization and its activities”, they disclosed at the end of the meeting.


In the process, both parties discussed the possibility of the group to become member of the large AUB family which is made up of more than 50 public and private member organizations across the continent and beyond African borders. They also dwelled on means to establish a strong partnership in the field of broadcasting.

This visit enters in line with AUB’s policy to consolidate cordial relations with all African media professionals.

The meeting comes days after the launching of the pilot phase of i-TV channel (location channel 15) of the Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT). This new television channel is being presented as "the flagship of the e-media group, with focus on the triptych: authentic information, entertainment and education as an essential condition of togetherness here and elsewhere", the group’s staff declared.

E-media Invest is an integrated private media platform which was launched on September 8, 2018, in Dakar.

The African Union of Broadcasting welcomed this initiative, which marks the beginning of a long-term and fruitful collaboration.
