The Seminar which was jointly organized by 2M-SOREAD http://www.2m.ma/fr/ and the African Union of Broadcasting (AUB), took place from 09 to 14 April 2018, in Casablanca.

The massive advent of social networks in recent years has not only thrilled the spotlight on the Web. It strongly contested the first place occupied by the mainstream media as information tools for citizens. WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter or Snapchat, among others, the massive arrival of networks and Mobile devices such as smartphones and Iphones has completely reversed the hierarchy within the media landscape. Therefore, how can media professionals make appropriate use of these social networks to optimize their productions? How usefull is a Smartphone for instance in the fabrication of media contents? http://www.bbc.co.uk/academy/journalism/article/art20130702112133395 How can journalists make digestible contents from a mere audio recorded with their mobile phone or an Iphone? http://www.bbc.co.uk/academy/journalism/skills/filming-and-recording/article/art20130702112133386

These preoccupations and many others were at the centre of a week-long training program which took place from 9 to 14th April 2018, at the Headquaters of 2M- SOREAD, in Casablanca, Morocco.
