AFCON U17 : Uganda to face Morocco in opener on March 13, in Rabat
The Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON U-17) begins on March 13, 2021, at the Moulay El Hassan Complex in Rabat.
Host country Morocco will clash with Uganda at 7 PM (GMT). The other encounter of group A is scheduled to take place on March 14 between Zambia and Ivory Coast, still at the Moulay El Hassan Complex in Rabat.
Defending champion, Cameroon will meet with Senegal on March 15, 2021 at 4 P.M at the Father Jego Stadium in Casablanca. Cameroon is located in a strike group comprising Mali and South Africa.
For the very first time, the AFCON U-17 will bring together 12 teams divided into three groups. The draw took place on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, in Rabat, under the auspices of CAF Competitions Director, Samson Adamu.
